Can I review and approve investments before they are made in my account?

Your Private Managed Account will be discretionary in nature, meaning that CrowdStreet Advisors will be authorized to efficiently execute investments on your behalf through a limited power of attorney. This better equips us to be able to get you into the offerings that best meet your needs, and lowers the risk that you might not receive an allocation due to oversubscription.

I have pre-existing investments of my own in my CrowdStreet marketplace account.

Your Client Relationship Manager will review your pre-existing investments to ensure that your Private Managed Account invests in the offerings that will best complement your other investments, in order to create a well-balanced, diversified, and holistic CRE portfolio. You will not be charged any separate fees for the review of your pre-existing investments.

How will my tax documents be delivered?

You will receive a K-1 for each of your investments, sent to you by secure email and conveniently archived within your CrowdStreet investor portfolio for download at any time.

Do I have to be an accredited investor to open a Private Managed Account?

Yes, the offerings eligible for investment via a Private Managed Account require investors to be accredited. To simplify the quarterly verification renewal process, if you qualify under the annual income requirement, your Client Relationship Manager can verify your accreditation directly; if you qualify under the net worth requirement, we can reach out to your CPA or attorney to gather the necessary letter of accreditation.
