What was once a manual, offline investment process can now be completed seamlessly through our platform. Both you and your custodian can sign and complete custodian-specific, pre-populated documents from within our Transaction Center for a simple and straightforward investment process.

 

How to make an investment with your SDIRA.

 

Step One

Submit an offer

Review active offerings or portfolios on the CrowdStreet Marketplace and find one that matches your investment objectives. Submit your offer by clicking “Invest Now.” Enter your offer amount and, if need be, create a new Investing Entity associated with your SDIRA. You can create a new investing entity by logging into your CrowdStreet account and selecting “Investing Entities” under “My Account.” Click on the “Create Investing Entity” button and select “IRA” from the dropdown menu under “Account Type.” Complete the rest of the required information to create the new investing entity and submit your offer.

 

Step Two

Complete the required paperwork

Once your offer is submitted and approved, you will be required to sign the necessary closing documents. This can be done quickly online using Docusign, or can be done offline by printing the paperwork and uploading a signed copy. You will be prompted online to take the necessary steps and guided through the process.

 

Step Three

Approve the transfer of funds

Once the offer is approved by the sponsor, you will need to initiate the transfer of funds from your SDIRA account to the sponsor.
